About Twine

Built for the part of a relationship that happens on a screen.

When you're apart, most of your time together happens on your phones: calls at strange hours, messages across time zones, a "goodnight" that arrives in the middle of their afternoon. Twine gives that time something to do.

Why it exists

Most games for couples assume you're on the same sofa at the same time. Long-distance couples usually aren't. One of you is waking up as the other goes to sleep, the call drops, or there's a whole day between you. So Twine is built around that:

How we build it

Your relationship isn't our data

No email, no analytics, and an account that is only the name you choose. Once you've paired, everything between your phones is end-to-end encrypted, and the server that passes it along can't open it.

Depth, not a feed

121 games and 1021 prompts, from silly to serious. Each game has an end. We would rather you close the app and keep talking.

Priced for two

One Twine+ subscription covers the couple. When you start a game with your partner, they play it too, and the free version is still worth using.

Who makes it

Twine is made by ELAQ Limited. There's a person at hello@twineapp.club, and every email gets read.
